Congratulations to the student of the year Paul Shearwood.
Paul has helped support the club all year round. He has been
to more classes than anyone else, helped with demonstrations,
entered competitions and helped at gradings. Well done Paul.

Congratulations to the Tyger student of the year Terri Armfield.
Terri has a great attitude in class, always tries her hardest
she got the highest mark ever in a grading recently. She has
helped out by coming to demonstrations and this award is well
deserved.

Competition in Bournemouth. Stuart Coulter, Ben Joy, Darren Glass, Dillon Gamanlal
and Paul Shearwood made the trip to the comp near Poole.
Most notably Stuart came 2nd and Ben came 3rd in coloured belt sparring.

The last week for classes in 2006 is week commencing the 18th December.
We start training again on the week commencing the 8th January 2007.
Don't eat too much over Christmas, the first session back will be very hard.

The new Faversham club will be starting in January 2007. All being well it should be in
the old boys gym which is currently being refurbished. Times are provisionally Tuesday and
Thursday 7-8pm.

The next taekwondo competition will be in Bournemouth on the 17th December. Address is
Lytchett Manor Sports Centre starting at 10am. Please indicate if you are interested by
letting your instructor know. You will need a gumshield but sparring equipment is optional.

The promotion covers the Newington and Iwade clubs only.

The taekwondo christmas party will be at the UK paper cricket pavillion, we will be awarding
the student of the year award, bring friends and family, tickets are on sale now. £5.

The taekwondo grading and junior tygers grading for Swallows and Bapchild clubs will take
place on the 29th October 2006. A letter will be given out closer to the time stating the
exact timings, it will be held at Bapchild Village Hall.

All memberships are now due. Every October the memberships are due for renewal. Cost £20
The membership covers your insurance policy during training and entry to all association
events such as gradings, competitions, social events.

The new taekwondo class at the Abbey school in Faversham has been put on hold until the
new sports hall is open for business. The club was due to open at the beginning of October
but this will be delayed until the new year now with the set back of the sports hall.
